Dental Care

There are two critical components of your pet's veterinary dental care

*oral examinations-performed by the Doctor throughout your pet,s life

*dental cleanings - performed in the hospital while under general anesthetic

We know that dental care begins at the puupy and kitten life stage. It is recommended that all puppies and kittens be evaluated for any problems related to the deciduous(baby) teeth , missing or extra teeth and oral development.

When your pet comes in for their annual examination the Doctor will look for any anomalies, accumulation of plaque and tartar , periodontal disease and oral tumors. His dental recommendation will be based on these examinations.
